Sparkle Shine Effervescent Hellos!!!
Above is an acrylic painting I did called "It's the journey not the destination"...
which totally depicts my last 3 years of living...ahh when really thinking about it...it truly is my life from beginning to now. Ever changing, ever learning growing stretching...

Life is the strangest journey. Mine would read like a piece of fiction for sure! My entire life was re routed through a divorce after 42yrs of marriage in 2011.
Because our home was in bankruptcy I had to walk away from it, basically home-less! Packing my life into 2 suitcases. One held heart treasures and things that meant the most to me. The other held my clothing. I wonder what others might pack given the same opportunity...what would you?
I made 10 moves in 3yrs...My first move was to stay with 2 Hermit Nuns in an old farmhouse. Both in their 70's kind, generous, funny, loving and caring. It gave me time to quiet my self...an oasis of sorts and actually, a good spring board for what was to come...a time of rest. Finally in 2013 I landed in Grass Lake Mi...a Maybury rfdish town where people are so friendly and life is unhurried. This little "ladybug" of a place situated on an acre of land provided a stability and a true sense of being on my own. Each move brought insights and knowledge that was needed to mold me. In this sweet place I truly became my own best friend...I learned to love myself which produced authenticity...something I that had evaded me all my life....a realness. I moved in in April 2013 and into my new home
